UNITE Pike

Education

UNITE Pike works diligently to educate the citizens of Pike County to reduce the incidence of substance abuse and encourage recovery.  The coalition works closely with local schools to provide information to students that will enable them to make better decisions.

The organization also schedules special events intended to raise awareness of substance abuse and recovery.  Previous events include basketball camps, special speakers, and many other initiatives.

Public awareness campaigns are another tool UNITE Pike utilizes to promote substance abuse prevention.  These include purchased media (television, radio, etc) and publicity provided by media partners.  The newest campaign is the Drug Free Works campaign, designed to highlight the advantages of implementing a drug free workplace policy.

Information regarding substance abuse prevention and recovery is available through the UNITE Pike office.

UNITE Pike can provide speakers for area organizations including parent groups, school groups, business, social organizations, churches, etc.  Please contact our office for additional information.  We will be glad to work with you.
